Bound to Envy

God has a Grand Plan, and His work is coming together nicely, right on schedule. It’s so exciting to catch even a glimpse of His grand scheme.

“Did God reject his people?
By no means!
Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery?

salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.

Seeking vs. Indifference

“At that time I will...punish those who are complacent,

Seeking

Are you absolutely convinced that God’s love is focused on you personally?

Do you think of Him as a loving God, caring for the masses, but rather busy for just you? Or do you think He’s waiting for better performance from you? Have you forgotten what you once knew? Have you ever wrestled for an answer to know what His love is like? Are you certain of its dimensions and properties? Are you prepared for what you will find? Are you willing to leave the answer to someone else? What if you find out you missed out on the greatest thing ever, but you hadn’t bothered to go searching? What if He’s been seeking you out and you didn’t notice? What if you only had to ask Him?

A Shot in the Arm

The principal and I are going to a homeschool convention for the next two days. I’m looking forward to the seminars, shopping for used curriculum, and seeing familiar faces in the crowd. The previous two years have been very inspiring, so I’m hoping to get a clearer, renewed vision for the next school year.

Keeping it Together

I have a penchant, an obsession, a gift, or something like that: I like getting organized. I have learned that it doesn't take much chaos to make me too woozy to function properly. So, it's practically a hobby for me to work on things that make my life more tidy. I was asked to have an organizing workshop at the Women's Retreat this weekend, so I thought I'd share the bounty with everyone. Feel free to use or change these forms for your use.
